Our Story
Lunar Legacies was founded in November 2025, but its roots began earlier—through a quiet, persistent call that brought founder Jess Liddle back to Kaua‘i.
What started as a return to the island became a commitment: to create spaces for movement, connection, and presence through ecstatic dance. These gatherings grew naturally—held with care, shaped by community, and guided by something deeper than just events.
Over time, it became clear that this work wanted a wider container.
Lunar Legacies emerged as that umbrella—a way to bring these offerings into clearer structure, greater integrity, and expanded possibility. With this foundation, the vision has grown to welcome more established artists, elevate production quality, and continue cultivating experiences that feel both grounded and expansive.
At its core, this is not a one-person operation.
It is carried by a devoted team of volunteers—individuals who show up with generosity, creativity, and heart. Their presence is woven into every gathering, making each event a true reflection of community in motion.
Integrity is the guiding light of Lunar Legacies.
This means listening closely.
It means pivoting when needed.
It means continually reassessing to ensure that values and intentions are not just stated—but lived.
Every decision, every collaboration, and every offering is approached with care for how it impacts the whole: the people, the land, and the energetic exchange between them.
Lunar Legacies exists to create spaces that are intentional but never rigid, elevated but never exclusive—where music, movement, and human connection can unfold in their most honest form.
